Official language:
Japanese is the Official language of the congress, however, some programs will be conducted in English.

*No interpretation will be provided.

Climate and Clothing:
Kobe is usually comfortable at the time of scheduled Conference. The average temperature in December is in the range 6-15°C. Accordingly, a coat would be appropriate.

Gratuities tippings:
Tipping is not necessary.
A service charge is included in hotel and restaurant bills, etc.

Power Supply:
Although 100V is the standard power supply throughout Japan, with a frequency of 60Hz in the Kobe area.
Plugs are the Japanese two-pin variety

Currency and Shopping:
The unit of currency is Japanese yen. You can exchange foreign currency at banks, international airports, and other authorized money exchangers.

VAT/Taxes:
VAT is 5％ on the purchase price of most items.

VISA:
Upon your request, Visa information will be issued after your Registration.

Letter of Invitation Request:
Upon request, the Secretariat Office will issue a letter of invitation. The sole purpose of the letter is to facilitate the participant's travel and visa arrangements. It does not imply provision of financial or other support.
