Call for Papers

Thank you very much for your abstract submission.
We have closed all the application for submission and correction.
Acceptance notice (incl. detail information for your presentation) will be sent to you
by email in the beginning of October.

Guideline

Abstract submission can be made via online.
Please keep it in mind that we cannot accept any submission or correction after deadline.

Requirements for Presenter
  1. MBSJ and/or JBS membership is a must.
    If you are not a member, please apply for either or both of the societies first.
  2. Those who submit abstracts are required to register as participant in advance.
    Please complete registration for participation beforehand.
  3. As a first author / presenter, you can submit ONLY ONE PAPER.

<How to Submit Abstracts Online>

1.Open Period

July 1 – July 15th
July 26rd, 2010 (no extension after deadline)

2. Registration ID

You are required to register as a participant before you proceed to abstract submission.
Please send the advance registration form to the secretariat and receive the Registration ID.
You need to enter this ID when submission.

3. Presentation Style (Poster / Oral)

All the free presenters are expected to make poster presentation (topic list: the Classification of the Poster Sessions).
In addition, some papers will be selected for oral presentation.

4.Member Number

In the process of your abstract submission, you are required to enter your membership number.
If you don’t have any membership of the societies, please complete membership application procedure beforehand.

5.Payment of Membership Fee

Enter the date when you paid this year’s annual membership fee. In case you do not keep the receipt, please enter as follows;

  1. Case 1: Surely paid but lost the receipt:
    Enter "January 3rd, 2010" as date of payment.
  2. Case 2: Joined the society and waiting for the transfer sheet, but not reached yet.
    Enter "January 2nd, 2010" as date of payment
  3. Case 3: Joined the society and not paid yet by necessity.
    Enter "January 2nd, 2010" as date of payment.
  4. Case 4: Still in the course of application procedure:
    Enter "January 1st, 2010" as date of payment.

6.Length of Abstract

Your abstract is required to be less than 1,700 bytes including titles and authors. If your abstract has too many characters, it will be printed in very small fonts. If the number of the character exceeds the limit, you need to shorten your paper.

7.Receipt Code and Password

When you complete abstract submission successfully, you will receive automatic message with ‘RECEIPT CODE’ by e-mail. This code and password you create in the submission page will be necessary to view and edit your abstract. In case you do not receive the e-mail message, please check the e-mail address you have entered and try to submit once again.

8.Correction of Submitted Abstracts

You can modify abstract you have submitted via online only for the open period. (unavailable after deadline)

9.Withdrawal of Submitted Abstracts

You can withdraw abstract you have submitted via online only for the open period. (unavailable after deadline)

10.FAQ for the online submission system

If you have questions regarding the system, please refer to FAQ page before inquiring to the secretariat.

11.Notice of Acceptance / Rejection

Acceptance Notice will be sent to you by e-mail in October.
