There is no need for coming over the Registration Desk. When entering, please make sure to wear your name badge sent by postal mail in early September.

Name Badge

Please wear the name badge all the time during the meeting for identification and security purposes.

Program Booklet and Abstracts CD-ROM

Program Booklet and Abstracts CD-ROM will be sent to the JBS members in advance. Also, it is purchasable for JPY4,000/book at the JBS Desk located next to the Registration Desk.

Payment for Annual membership fee and Application for membership

Payment for Annual membership fee and Application for membership is available at the JBS Desk located next to the Registration Desk. If you are a member and have not paid annual membership fee yet, please make a payment.

Luncheon Seminars (Bioindustry Seminars)

As the number of lunches is limited, lunch ticket will be required to receive lunch service.Please exchange your coupon which is attached to your name badge for a lunch ticket. Please follow the procedure below;

Issuance of Lunch Ticket

Lunch tickets will be issued at the Bioindustry Seminar Desk.

Hours: 22(Thu) and 23(Fri) 8:00-11:00 (Only for seminars held on the day)
*Note: The number of lunches provided will vary depending on the seminar. Tickets are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Time Limit for Lunch Ticket

Lunch tickets are not valid later than 11:45.
The morning programs are scheduled to end at 11:30. Holders of lunch ticket should arrive before the starting time of the Bioindustry Seminar(11:45). Please be aware that if you arrive after 11:45, your ticket will be invalid and your lunch reservation may be transferred to other seminar participant who does not have a lunch ticket.

Attendance at Bioindustry Seminar without Lunch Ticket

Please bring and show your coupon for a lunch ticket at the seminar room. Lunch will not be served.

Program

Late-Breaking Abstracts

All late-breaking abstracts will be presented as poster presentations.

Mixers

To encourage active discussion, mixers will be held each day during the poster presentation/discussion period. During the mixers low-malt beer and soft drinks will be offered to participants at a special discount prices. We look forward to relaxed and wide-ranging chats.

Exhibition

Machinery, chemical reagents, disposable products, computer systems etc. related to biochemistry will be displayed at the Poster & Exhibition Hall (1F, Event Hall).

Snacks and Beverages

Snacks and beverages can be purchased at the Poster & Exhibition Hall(1F, Event Hall).

Bulletin Board

There is no paging service at the meeting site except for emergency. To make contact with other participants, please post and check messages on the bulletin board placed near the Registration Desk (1F, near main entrance).

Cloakroom

Cloakroom is available for your luggage. Please note that valuables can not be accepted. We are not responsible for any damage or loss at the cloakroom.

Parking

There are several car parking spaces around the meeting site, however, participants are encouraged to use public transportation because of the limited capacity.

Business Center (Delivery, Copy and Fax Service)

Business Center is located next to the Gift Shop(1F). Delivery service, copy and fax are available.

Convenience Store

There are convenience stores around the meeting site. Food, beverages and some daily necessities are available, as well as delivery service and ATM.

Prohibitions

Photography / Recording

Photos and audio / video recordings are prohibited at the meeting site.

Mobile Phones

Talking on mobile phones in the presentation rooms is not permitted. Please make sure to set your mobile phone to manner mode at the meeting site.

Smoking

Non-smoking except for smoking areas.
