Late-breaking Abstracts

Thanks to enthusiastic JBS members, we have received very many abstracts by the submission deadline at the end of May however, we assume there are some more researchers with latest accomplishments. To make the meeting more meaningful, we offer Late-Breaking Abstracts deadline for those that cannot be in time for the former deadline.
We expect many papers that highlight novel and substantive studies of high impact.

Important notes

• Late-Breaking Abstracts will not be printed on program booklets. They will only appear on website as PDF files.
• Presentation style: Poster presentation
• Because of the limited space for poster session, we may close the period earlier than the above date. Please note that we accept on a first-come-first served basis.

Requirements for presenter

• JBS membership is a must. If you are not a member yet, please join the society first.
• You can be a presenter for ONLY ONE PAPER (if you have submitted abstract in summer, you can not apply for this opportunity).
• Presenters are required to register as participants. Please note that advance registration will be closed on August 19. If you do not register in advance, you need to register at the meeting site with higher fee.

How to submit abstracts

Please download "Late-Breaking Abstract Format" (MS Word) and fill in the form with the necessary information and abstract. We will receive it as attached file by email.

1.Application Deadline

August 11th (Fri), JST 17:00

2.Member number

You are required to enter your member number for JBS.
If you don't have membership of the societies, please complete membership application procedure before the meeting.
In case you are still in the course of membership application procedure and do not acquired the member number, please type the following tentative numbers (8888888 for JBS membership applicants).

3.Topic of poster presentation

Please choose 1 or 2 topics for your poster presentation from the topic list.

4.Abstract size and formatting

Please keep the indicated fonts and sizes. Abstract size should not exceed 1,700 bytes including spaces.

5.Notice of receipt

When we receive your application, we will send a receipt notice by email. The notice is not an automatic message, so please be patient if it takes a couple of days to reach you.

6.Notice of acceptance / rejection

Acceptance notice with presentation detail will be sent to you by email at the end of August.

7.Correction of submitted abstracts

Please send us the revised form by the deadline (we will not accept any revision after deadline).

8.Withdrawal of submitted abstracts

Please inform the secretariat by the deadline (we will not accept any withdrawal after deadline).
