For Organizers / Chairpersons

Arrival

Please come to the staff desk located at front in the right of the presentation room by 15 minutes prior to the start time.

Process and Timing

Organizers and chairpersons are expected to ensure each presenterfs allotted presentation time.
Scheduled time of each presentation is shown in the program. If there are any changes from originally scheduled time, please inform the staff inside of the presentation room.

The staffs assist with timing. If you have any necessary arrangements regarding the bell signals, please inform so before the session begins. The bell signals are given as follows unless you inform your own arrangement to the staffs;

ONE ring: 2 minutes remaining
TWO rings: End the presentation and start the question time
THREE rings: End of the question time. Allotted time is over.

2. For presenters of International Sessions / Symposia / Forums

Presentation Language

For international sessions and symposia, presentation language differs depending on sessions.
(See At a Glance in Program page for presentation language for each session).
All forums will be held in Japanese.

Time

Allotted time varies according to sessions.

Method

All presentations should be given with computers. You must bring your own laptop computer. Please read carefully gTechnical Requirements for Your Laptop Computerh.

Preview

Bring your computer to gPreview Deskh in the presentation room by 20 minutes prior to the start time.

3. For presenters of Oral presentations

Presentation Language

Japanese or English (by presenterfs choice)

Time

Each presenter has 10 minutes for presentation (8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion).
The bell signals are given as follows;

ONE ring 2 minutes remaining 4 minutes passed
TWO rings End your presentation then start discussion 8 minutes passed
THREE rings End of the discussion.
Your allocated time is over.
10 minutes passed

All presentation should be given with computers.

yTechnical Requirements for Your Laptop Computerz
  1. The monitor connecter gD-sub15 pinh is necessary to connect your laptop to the projector used in the meeting site. Bring an appropriate converter with you if your computer does not have this connecter.
  2. Bring an AC adaptor of your computer.
  3. Deactivate the screen-saver, power-saving mode and password lock in advance.
  4. Adjust screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixel (XGA).
  5. Monitor, mouse, and slide operating switch will be set on the podium. Please operate them by yourself during your presentation.

4. For presenters of Poster presentations

Poster Session Room

Exhibition Hall B, PACIFICO YOKOHAMA

Posting Period

Each poster will be posted for one day. Please put up your poster in the morning of your presentation day and remove it when the poster session is over.

Time line of posting, presentation, discussion and removal

Stand in front of your poster through the scheduled presentation and discussion time. Please wear the yellow ribbon representing the presenter during your presentation.

Posting information

‡@ Display location

The last 3-digit number of the presentation number is shown at the upper left corner of each panel.
Please find your number and put up your poster. See Poster Panel Layout to find your panel location. Push pins are prepared at each panel.


‡A Panel size

Each panel size is W90 x H150 (W35.4in x H59in).
Indicate your presentation title, author(s), and affiliation(s) at the top of the poster. The letter size should be large enough to be clearly read at least 5m (16.4ft) away.


‡B Mark of Presenterfs name

Place a small circle mark on the left of the presenterfs name.


‡C Presentation Language

Presentation and discussion will be made in the language which you chose at the abstract submission. If you make presentation in Japanese, please indicate title, author(s), and affiliation(s) in English as well.


‡D Text size

The poster text should be written large enough to be read 2m (6.5ft) away. Illustrations and charts should be as large as possible.


‡E Removal

Remove your poster when the poster session time is over. The Secretariat will not keep nor return posters.
