Program

[Poster Presentations and Discussers]
Taking advantage of the vast meeting space that can accommodate 1,000 posters each day, we are putting importance on the poster sessions. Each free presenter (non-invited presenter) is asked to provide a poster presentation and designate a principal investigator as the discusser, to stimulate active questioning and discussion. The names of the discussers will be posted on the meeting website as they are chosen.

[Late-Breaking Abstracts]
Late-breaking abstracts, received after the deadline for abstract submission but no later than November 6, will be presented only as poster presentations.

[Meet the Symposists]
Making our meeting more international is a key theme this year, and each day's symposium will include invited speakers abroad, mainly junior principal investigators. Yet the limited time available for the symposium will provide little opportunity for participants to interact with the speakers who have come from overseas.
Therefore we have added a "Meet the Symposists" feature to the meeting, with a special booth set up in the poster and exhibition area in the Exhibition Hall. On the first, second and third days of the meeting, during the poster presentation and discussion period (16:00-19:00), the symposists from the day's symposium will gather at the "Meet the Symposists" booth. Don't miss these opportunities to speak directly with symposists from overseas as well as prominent Japanese researchers.

[Mixers]
To encourage lively discussion in the poster area, a mixer will be held each day during the poster presentation/discussion period (16:00-19:00 each day, except 13:15-16:15 on Dec. 12). During the mixers, low-malt beer and soft drinks will be available to meeting participants at special discount prices. We look forward to relaxed and wide-ranging chats during the mixers.

[Exhibition of Equipment, Reagents and Books]
A wide array of products of interest to molecular biologists will be displayed at numerous booths in the poster and exhibition area in the Exhibition Hall.
Those who wish to attend the exhibition only should follow the meeting registration procedure.

Exhibition Hours: Dec. 9-12 (Wed.-Sat.), 10:00-19:00
Location: Exhibition Hall
